It is super potent so you have to start slowly once/twice a week. Having said that, it doesn’t have any of the side effects that Retin A has and I am now able to use it every night. It definitely helps with fine lines, pigmentation, acne and is very hydrating: I noticed immediate improvement in the quality of my skin. It is an investment but it does last for ages. Applying it with the mist does make a difference.
With this product, which I've only applied once per week so far, I've had slight redness in areas (not extreme) and light peeling over most my face. I'm taking this as a good sign that the product is actually effective, and my skin will slowly build up tollerance and the overall results will start to shine through.
I bought the smaller size jar, and given you have to use so little of it, I imagine it will last several months. With this in mind, the cost actually seems okay. In comparison, I paid $180AUD for my Synergie Skin retinol, that didn't appear that affective (it was the A+ retinol thats supposed to be high strength) and the bottle lasted a few months. I paid $190AUD for this one, imagine this will last around the same time, and I believe its actually proving effective so far.
The quality of the formula feels elegant, the gel applies smoothly and for me, personally, with no irritation when using it, only a slight sensitivity (like a very mild sunburn) 2-3 days later, which is a good sign it works.
