The formula can be used as a standard rinse-off cleanser once or twice daily. For areas of congestion or active breakouts, it can be left on the skin for several minutes to allow the mandelic acid additional contact time before rinsing.

Apply a small amount to damp skin.

Massage gently in circular motions for 20 to 30 seconds.

Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry.

For congested areas or breakouts, leave the cleanser on the skin for several minutes before rinsing to enhance the mandelic acid benefit.

Use once or twice daily as tolerated. Avoid the eye area.

Most people who want clearer skin reach for the strongest exfoliating cleanser they can find. That is usually where the problem starts.

Stronger acids work faster, but faster is not always better when it comes to exfoliation. Glycolic acid, for example, is effective. But its small molecular size means it absorbs quickly and aggressively. For many skin types, that means irritation, dryness, and a barrier that is more reactive, not less.

Mandelic acid behaves differently.

Its larger molecular structure means it penetrates more gradually. That slows the exfoliation process in a way that is actually useful.
